Nghe An: Arrest of suspect who slashed someone to death at a funeral

(Baonghean.vn)- On the evening of June 2, the investigation agency of Nghe An Provincial Police and Vinh Tan Ward Police (Vinh City) are investigating and arresting the subject who slashed 1 person to death and injured 1 person before fleeing.

The deceased victim was identified as Vo Dinh Toan, 28 years old, residing in Quang Trung block, Vinh Tan ward (Vinh city). The injured person was a woman named H.

Scene of the incident

The incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. on June 2, after a funeral, at a house on Dang Van Thuy Street, Block 15, Cua Nam Ward, Mr. Toan and a young man had a conflict and argued.

During the fight, the young man used a knife to seriously injure Mr. Toan. Ms. H. tried to intervene but was also injured by the subject. Afterwards, the subject fled the scene.

The two victims were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment immediately. At around 9:35 p.m. on June 2, Toan died at the hospital.

That same night, the authorities performed an autopsy, arrested the suspect and investigated the case.
