(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 8, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to honor students and instructors who won prizes in the 10th National Skills Competition - 2018.

The 10th National Skills Competition in 2018 had 520 contestants from 56 delegations. Participating in this year's competition, Nghe An delegation had 10 contestants selected from the provincial skills competition with 10 occupations. As a result, 8/10 contestants won prizes with 1 first prize, 2 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes.

In which, the First Prize of Vi Thi Dieu Vui - fashion technology profession (College of Economics - Industry - Handicrafts) was evaluated as excellent with a near-absolute score (99.47/100 points) - topping the list of Gold Medal winners.

Also after this competition, contestant Vi Thi Dieu Vui and contestant Hoang Van Duc (Welding) - Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College) continued to be selected by the Organizing Committee of the National Skills Competition to train the team to participate in the 12th ASEAN Skills Competition held in Thailand.

The national skills competition is an activity to honor the young, highly skilled workforce. Thereby, promoting the emulation movement of learning, practicing skills, and competing for skilled workers at all levels and in all sectors; at the same time, encouraging teachers and learners to promote their creativity, creating a source of highly skilled workers to participate in regional and international skills competitions.
