(Baonghean) - Implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", up to now, the proportion of Vietnamese goods accounts for a high proportion in the domestic market, from 80% to over 90% in modern distribution channels... in Nghe An.

IMPORTANT MOVEMENT

As a tourist area, welcoming nearly 3 million visitors every year for sightseeing and vacation, the propaganda work to implement the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" is of special interest to Cua Lo town. Every year, in addition to promoting propaganda work, the town prioritizes and creates favorable conditions for Vietnamese brands, investors, and Vietnamese enterprises to organize events to promote their images and products to tourists and people.

Currently, in the town, there are 4 craft villages and 4 products of the craft villages that have been granted collective trademark certificates by the Department of Intellectual Property. The town also directed and coordinated with members of Steering Committee 389, wards and established interdisciplinary inspection teams to strengthen inspection and prevent the trading of counterfeit, fake, smuggled and poor quality goods, creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese goods to have a market and reach consumers.

Localities, departments, branches and organizations in the province also pay much attention to the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" with practical and effective activities, creating a clear change in people's consumption behavior.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh in Hung Binh Ward, Vinh City shared: Through media channels, people are more interested in choosing products. However, when using domestic or foreign products, I care about two basic factors: quality and price. In my opinion, not only is the spirit of national pride favoring domestically produced goods, in the province, but in reality, Vietnamese goods have many prestigious and quality brands.

From the movement to encourage Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods, up to now, many products have conquered consumers, many of which have become the pride of Vietnamese people. The proportion of Vietnamese goods accounts for a high proportion in the domestic market, from 80% to over 90% in modern distribution channels and from 60% or more in traditional retail channels.

DEPTH OF THE MOVEMENT

It can be said that the effective participation of Party committees, authorities, organizations from the province to the grassroots and people of all walks of life have actively responded to the success of the 10-year campaign. Up to now, the whole province has 19,708 enterprises, 833 branches, representative offices, 701 cooperatives, 2 business cooperative alliances and 143,479 households participating in business and production in many fields, creating favorable conditions for economic development and local integration.

The authorities have done a good job of market management; preventing smuggling, counterfeit goods, trade fraud, and protecting consumer rights. Enterprises in the province enthusiastically participated in the campaign by innovating science and technology, investing in modern machinery to produce many high-quality goods, beautiful designs, and attractive prices for consumers.

Over the past 10 years, Nghe An has organized over 20 campaigns to bring Vietnamese goods to rural and mountainous areas and 50 markets to bring Vietnamese goods to localities in the province. The conferences connecting supply and demand of goods in Nghe An province in 2016, 2017, 2018 with the participation of many businesses in the province, as well as distribution systems nationwide, helped many products in the province enter distribution systems, agents, and retail stores not only in the province, but also in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City... In addition, vegetables, fruits, and seafood products are strongly consumed in supermarket systems, tourist areas, and resorts of large corporations.

Trade programs, supply-demand connections and domestic market development activities have contributed to supporting businesses in grasping market trends and consumer tastes to build more effective production and business plans.

Enterprises and production units have improved designs, packaging, improved product quality, changed approaches and trade promotion methods to bring goods to and consume them through modern distribution channels, thereby contributing to changing business strategies towards sustainable production of goods.

After 10 years of implementing the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", we can clearly see positive changes from businesses, consumers and state management agencies, awareness of consuming Vietnamese products has been significantly improved, consumers are gradually more fully aware of their responsibilities and rights towards domestically produced goods for socio-economic development, social security...

Recently, sharing at the Conference summarizing 10 years of implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee of the campaign said: Consumers have had many changes in their awareness of Vietnamese goods, however, the most important and the prerequisite for the success of the program is that businesses must focus on improving the value of products, goods, after-sales care services and service attitude. That is the decisive and sustainable factor.


“To create a widespread spread of the message “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods” to millions of consumers across the country, in the coming period, there needs to be a new way to further enhance the effectiveness of the campaign, shifting from campaigning to improving quality, going into depth, enhancing producer responsibility, building trust with consumers, so that Vietnamese goods can conquer Vietnamese consumers.”
