1) Commemorating the 90th anniversary of Vietnam's revolutionary press and awarding the Nghe An Journalism Prize in 2014

Provincial leaders presented Certificates of Merit to the authors and groups of authors who won first prize in the Nghe An Journalism Awards 2014.

On the morning of June 18th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a ceremony to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - 2015) and the awarding ceremony for the Nghe An Journalism Prize 2014. This is the 9th year that Nghe An province has organized the Journalism Prize. At the awarding ceremony, the organizing committee presented awards to 30 outstanding works in various categories including print journalism, television journalism, radio journalism, online journalism, and photojournalism.

2) Construction begins on the second Hoa Sen steel sheet factory in Nghe An.

On the morning of June 19th, at the Dong Hoi Industrial Park in Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province, in collaboration with Hoa Sen Group, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the construction of Hoa Sen Group's second factory in Nghe An. The total investment for the factory is estimated at 5,000 billion VND, and the factory is expected to produce its first products in March 2006. On the same day, the inauguration ceremony for Hoa Sen Group's steel sheet factory in the Southeast Economic Zone of Nghe An province also took place.

3) An additional 8,239 cases of Youth Volunteers have had their benefits processed.

Awards were presented to individuals and groups who made efforts to effectively resolve the entitlements for Youth Volunteers.

On the morning of June 16th, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a conference to review the three-year implementation of Decision No. 40/2011/QD-TTg dated July 27, 2011, of the Prime Minister, which stipulates the regime for Youth Volunteers who completed their duties during the resistance war. In implementing Decision 40, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued decisions to provide allowances to 8,239 Youth Volunteers, bringing the total number of Youth Volunteers whose entitlements have been processed to over 17,000.

4) Over 2,000 students were awarded their diplomas.

On the evening of June 15th, Vinh University held its graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor's and engineering degrees for the year 2014. At the end of the first semester of 2015, 2202 students were recognized as graduates, including 10 students with excellent grades, 289 students with good grades, and 1689 students with fair grades.
