1) - Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc visits the Vietnamese Embassy in India

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, presented a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese Embassy in India.

During his business trip and working visit to India with investors, on May 31st, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Duc Phoc and his delegation visited and greeted the Vietnamese Embassy in India. At the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary and members of the Embassy pledged to cooperate in promoting the attraction of Indian businesses and investors to Nghe An province in sectors considered to be India's strengths.

2) - Convert 490.62 hectares of rice paddy land for project implementation in Nghe An province.

On June 3rd, the Prime Minister issued document No. 789/TTg-KTN regarding the conversion of rice-growing land for project implementation in Nghe An province. Accordingly, the Prime Minister agreed to allow the People's Committee of Nghe An province to decide on the conversion of 490.62 hectares of rice-growing land for the VSIP Nghe An Industrial, Service and Urban Area Project.

3) Hot weather causes damage to agricultural production.

Most of the corn fields, the number one crop in Anh Son district, have been scorched by the heatwave, resulting in low yields or total crop failure.

Temperatures reaching approximately 40 degrees Celsius in Nghe An province in recent days have caused mass deaths of shrimp in shrimp farms in Quynh Luu district, Hoang Mai town, and Hung Hoa commune (Vinh city); many areas of corn, rice, and tea in Nghi Loc, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong districts, etc., have also withered and dried up.

Corn plants along the Lam River also couldn't escape wilting due to the intense heat.

4) Over 4,274 farms and family farms are operating effectively.
