Nghe An wins the Thanh-Nghe-Tinh Journalists' Football Tournament.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 17th, the 2nd Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Tinh Province Journalists' Football Tournament took place in Thanh Hoa City. The tournament was lively, dramatic, and left many positive impressions on the audience.
Nearly 100 journalists, reporters, and media collaborators from the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh participated in the tournament.

This is a practical activity by journalists, reporters, and media collaborators from the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh to commemorate the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2015) and in anticipation of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 2015).
With the spirit of "Journalism in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh provinces united, friendly, and for common development," through this tournament, the Organizing Committee hopes that journalists, reporters, and media collaborators in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh in particular, and the whole country in general, will further strengthen their solidarity, aiming for a clean journalistic environment for the benefit of the community.

The teams competed in a round-robin format, with points awarded to determine the champion. Despite playing under hot weather conditions, the journalists, reporters, and media collaborators from the three provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, and Ha Tinh, transformed into "players in shorts and jerseys," delivered thrilling and exciting matches with many spectacular plays for the audience.
At the end of the tournament, the Nghe An Press Union Club won first place, the Ha Tinh Press FC won second place, and third place went to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Press Football Team. In addition, the organizers also awarded the top scorer prize, which went to Viet Lam of the Nghe An team.

According to information from the Organizing Committee, the 3rd Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh Journalists' Football Tournament in 2016 will be held in Ha Tinh province.
