Nghe An exceeds targets in building exemplary families, clans, communities and learning units.

On the morning of September 18, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education held a Congress to commend outstanding families, clans, communities, and learning units in Nghe An province, period 2016 - 2020.

In the past 5 years (2016 - 2020), the implementation of Decision 281/QD-TTg on "Promoting lifelong learning movement in families, clans, and communities until 2020" has been carried out seriously and synchronously by all levels of the Association for Promotion of Education and has received active response and participation from many classes of people.

Thanks to that, models of families, clans, communities, and learning units have been built and developed extensively. Currently, the whole province has 81.4% of families achieving the title of learning family, 75.5% of clans achieving the title of learning clan, 76.8% of communities achieving the title of learning community, and 75.5% of units achieving the title of learning unit. The number of clans, communities, and units achieving the title exceeds the target approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

Through the movement of building and developing learning models, the system of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education has made strong progress in terms of quantity and quality of organizations and members.

Through this, we have also mobilized large resources from the people, businesses, and philanthropists to contribute to the education promotion work. In 5 years, the whole province has mobilized over 315 billion VND and awarded over 983,000 scholarships.

Building models is an important factor in promoting the economic and cultural life of each family, making practical and positive contributions to the innovation and development of education and training and the socio-economy of the province.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time,Provincial Association for Promotion of EducationThe government needs to continue to arouse and promote the people's tradition of studiousness, step up the work of encouraging learning and talent, build a learning society; promote learning associated with career orientation for students; and care for lifelong learning for adults.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education awarded the Emulation Flag to 3 collectives with outstanding achievements in the movement to promote learning and talent for the Provincial Association for Promoting Education and the Association for Promoting Education of Dien Chau and Nghi Loc districts.

In addition, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education and the Provincial People's Committee also awarded many Certificates of Merit to outstanding collectives and individuals in the work of promoting education and talents.

Besides,Viettel Nghe Anbelonging to the Military Telecommunications Industry Group awarded the 7th scholarship of the "For studious children" program to the Nghe An Province Association for Promotion of Education with a total value of 1,110,000,000 VND to poor students in disadvantaged areas in the province. At the congress, the scholarship was directly awarded to 20 poor students of Nghi Loc district with good academic achievements in the 2019-2020 school year.
