(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 18, the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan Commune (Thanh Chuong) organized a groundbreaking ceremony to build a charity house for the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien - a household with especially difficult circumstances in the commune.
Ms. Hien's husband, Mr. Bui Van Huong, died on February 1st while plowing due to the cold weather, he froze to death in the middle of the field. Currently, she and her three children (the oldest child is not yet 3 years old) are living in a small house, which was originally a renovated buffalo pen, with no porch or yard. Life is extremely difficult.

Understanding the situation, Thanh Chuong district leaders promptly called for donations to build a charity house for Ms. Hien and her three children. After a short time of launching, organizations and individuals donated 60 million VND, Thanh Xuan commune directly organized the construction of a house for Ms. Hien and her children.
According to the plan, Ms. Hien's house under construction is a 2-room house, with mixed walls and tiled roof, with an area of 54 square meters, estimated cost of 80 million VND and to be completed in March. For the remaining amount, the district and commune leaders will continue to call for everyone's cooperation.
