Nghe An: Building a multimodal transportation market, developing logistics services
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Plan No. 532/KH-UBND dated August 30 to implement the Project "Building a competitive transportation market towards developing multimodal transportation and developing logistics services.
According to this plan, the Provincial People's Committee requires departments, branches and localities to focus on perfecting the management mechanism and developing multimodal transport activities and logistics services. Research and develop mechanisms and policies on the application of information technology in transport management, operation and exploitation.

Focus on directing and urging the progress of projects to build transport infrastructure and seaport systems, and continue to call for investment attraction and promote investment in other logistics infrastructure projects according to the plan.
At the same time, agencies and units develop harmoniously and reasonably transport modes, develop multimodal transport and logistics services. Strengthen the application of science and technology in the management, operation and exploitation of transport activities.
Strengthen dissemination, propaganda and guidance for transport businesses to effectively use the transport exchange platform to support and facilitate the transportation of goods by road, reduce the time of goods circulation, and preside over and apply the Intelligent Traffic Management Operation Center.
Request the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to review and establish small-scale logistics zones, connect goods collection points, warehouses, and distribution centers; urge the implementation of investment projects to build logistics service infrastructure.

Develop e-commerce activities, e-commerce trading floors, create favorable conditions for outsourcing logistics services and develop e-logistics. The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors, district-level People's Committees, and relevant units to grasp the viewpoints, objectives, tasks, and solutions for implementing the Project approved under Decision 703/QD-TTg dated June 7, 2019 of the Prime Minister and specified in this Plan; at the same time, based on assigned functions and tasks, coordinate with relevant levels, sectors, organizations, and units to effectively implement the Plan.
