Along with the resumption of fixed-route buses on Route 7, Nghe An Department of Transport has also withdrawn additional buses to relieve the number of passengers who need to travel on this route in recent days.

Previously, asNghe An Newspaperreported that since March 3, a series of fixed-route 7 passenger buses running from Vinh to Tuong Duong and Ky Son have simultaneously stopped running to protest the illegal buses and buses running beyond the route. Because, although not licensed to run to Tuong Duong and Ky Son, sleeper buses running from Nghe An to the southern and northern provinces still continuously pull their buses up to this area to pick up passengers, even picking up short-distance passengers, causing unhealthy competition.

According to the records, the return of fixed passenger buses on Route 7 has contributed to solving the large travel needs of the people, especially for workers and civil servants moving to districts along Route 7 in time for the second working day of the week. Mr. Tran Duc Tuan (residing in Nghi Kim commune, Vinh city), a worker in Muong Xen town (Ky Son), said: After knowing that the passenger bus was back in operation this morning, he arrived very early at Bac Vinh bus station to catch the bus in time for the shift change this afternoon.
