Nghe An: Truck hit by falling iron block, driver trapped in crushed cabin

(Baonghean.vn)- The truck was on its way to Quy Hop, when it reached Sang Le intersection, it was suddenly hit by a piece of iron from a crane coming from the opposite direction, trapping the truck driver in the crumpled cabin.

The accident occurred at 1:35 p.m. on November 21 on National Highway 48, passing through Sang Le intersection in Tan My hamlet, Tam Hop commune, Quy Hop district.

Accordingly, at the above time, the truck with license plate 37S 3908 was traveling from Thai Hoa town to Quy Hop, when it reached Sang Le intersection, it was suddenly hit by a piece of iron weighing about 1 ton from the crane with license plate 37S 22596 (traveling in the opposite direction).

The consequences left the injured truck driver trapped in the crushed cabin, the truck lost control and crashed into the roadside.

Immediately after the accident, people broke the door to take the young man driving the truck to the emergency room.

Traffic police of Quy Hop district also promptly arrived to handle the incident.
