Nghe An considers land auction to add about 2,600 billion VND to invest in 7 key projects
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province approved the policy and agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and issuance of a Resolution on exploiting auctioned land to create investment capital for a number of key and urgent projects in Nghe An province.
On the afternoon of September 11, at the September thematic meeting, the People's Committee of Nghe An province listened to and gave opinions on the policy of auctioning land plots to create investment resources for key projects in the province.

Accordingly, 11 land plots in Vinh City and the towns of Cua Lo and Hoang Mai will be planned for residential land auctions and 2 land plots in Cua Lo town will be planned for production and business auctions.
Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Xuan Hai said that the total value of residential land and land for production and business auctions is expected to be about 2,614 billion VND.
Revenue from the auction of land plots is expected to be allocated to 7 key projects in the province in order of priority, including: Traffic road connecting Vinh - Cua Lo (phase 1); Construction of Cua Hoi bridge across Lam River, Nghe An province and Ha Tinh province; Upgrading and expanding Binh Minh road and constructing traffic road from National Highway 46 to the intersection with Binh Minh road and access roads to wharfs 5,6,7,8 of Cua Lo port; Construction of Ly Thuong Kiet road (section passing through Hung Binh ward) of Vinh city; Bridge over Hoang Mai river and traffic road connecting road No. 2 to Con Den and Quynh Phuong - Quynh Lien beach tourist area; Coastal road from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Lo (Nghe An), section from Km76+00 - Km83+500 (section from the intersection of National Highway 46 to Provincial Road 535); Complete and synchronize construction of the route from Vinh airport to the roundabout of Muong Thanh Phuong Dong Hotel and Ho Chi Minh Square area.
These are all dynamic projects with spillover effects associated with the province's three growth axes.

After discussing and explaining the opinions of relevant sectors, the Provincial People's Committee approved the policy and agreed to submit to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and issuance of a Resolution on exploiting auctioned land to create investment capital for a number of key and urgent projects in Nghe An province.
This is a form of ensuring legal basis, authority... according to the provisions of related laws such as: Local government organization, Public investment, Budget, Bidding, Construction...
Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Thanh Quy requested the drafting agency, departments and branches to clarify the necessity of investment in the above key projects and carefully recalculate the total investment of the key projects expected to receive investment capital. The Department of Finance reviewed and recalculated the actual value when auctioning the above land plots.

In addition, during the implementation process, it is necessary to pay attention to systematic and synchronous planning on both sides of the selected routes in the list of 7 key investment projects to promote land efficiency. At the same time, there must be a specific plan, roadmap, and implementation progress, trying to implement from now until 2021.
