Nghe An: Fined 7 multi-level marketing businesses 273 million VND
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 26, 2016, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 1816/QD-UBND-NC on the inspection of law enforcement in multi-level marketing activities in the area. Through the inspection, the Interdisciplinary Team fined 7 multi-level marketing establishments with a total fine of 273 million VND.
The multi-level marketing establishments that violated the regulations were fined by the Interdisciplinary Team, including: Dang Thi Hoi business household (Thien Loc Franchise Joint Stock Company), residing in Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City, was fined 3 million VND for requiring people who wanted to participate in multi-level marketing to buy a certain amount of goods;

Isagenix Vietnam Co., Ltd. was fined VND40 million for failing to notify the Department of Industry and Trade where the company operates multi-level marketing after amending and supplementing the multi-level marketing registration certificate as prescribed.
Zogo Joint Stock Company was fined 20 million VND for not managing participants in multi-level sales through the membership card system according to regulations.
3 companies were fined for the same violation of not properly and fully performing the obligation to periodically report on multi-level sales activities to competent state agencies according to legal regulations, including: Thien Su Vietnam Co., Ltd. was fined 40 million VND, New Image Vietnam Co., Ltd. was fined 50 million VND, Unicity Marketing Vietnam Co., Ltd. was fined 50 million VND.
