Nghe An sends troops to attend the National Sports Festival
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of October 27, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An held a ceremony to send off the Nghe An Sports Delegation to participate in the 8th Sports Festival in 2018.
Attending the launching ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Minh Thong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors; 219 athletes and coaches of Nghe An Sports Delegation.

The National Sports Festival is held every 4 years. This is a major event of Vietnamese sports; a festival of competition, thereby affirming the high-performance sports of provinces and cities across the country, reflecting the level and investment of the localities.
The 8th National Sports Festival - 2018 takes place from November 16, 2018 to December 10, 2018. The opening ceremony will take place on November 25, 2018 in Hanoi. The festival will feature 473 events in 36 sports.
