Nghe An promotes tourism in Fujian province - China
(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program to promote Vietnam and Nghe An tourism in China, Nghe An delegation and the General Department of Tourism organized a conference to introduce Vietnam and Nghe An tourism.
Attending the conference were Mr. To Khanh Tu - Deputy Director of Fujian Tourism Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Chieu - Economic Counselor of the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing.
On the Vietnamese side, there were Mr. Ngo Hoai Chung - Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Quy Phuong - Director of Tourism Department - Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of Nghe An Department of Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Nam Dinh - Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee.

The conference was also attended by more than 300 delegates, including leaders and officials of tourism and hotel businesses, airlines, news agencies and press of the two countries.
Through the conference, Nghe An focuses on promoting and introducing the image and culture of tourist destinations, sea resort tourism products, eco-tourism, community tourism, and cuisine of Nghe An tourism to attract tourists from Fujian province, looking for partners to sign cooperation agreements to open charter flights in the near future. At the same time, promoting cooperation between Nghe An and Fujian provinces in the field of tourism. Information about Nghe An tourism will be widely conveyed to Chinese tourists, contributing to expanding the international tourist market and attracting Chinese tourists to Nghe An in the near future.

Nghe An commits to creating all favorable conditions for Fujian enterprises in linking and exchanging tourists, building new products and seeking investment opportunities, especially investment projects in Nghe An province.
Within the framework of the conference, the General Department of Tourism, Nghe An province, along with major travel and hotel businesses in Vietnam (Muong Thanh Group, Vietnamtourism Hanoi, Goftviet, Vietravel Vinh branch...) and businesses in Nanning organized exhibition spaces, meetings and introduced the potential, strengths, tourism products of the provinces, businesses, and showed films on Vietnamese tourism and Nghe An tourism in Chinese...

China is a huge source market for world tourism. According to statistics from the China National Tourism Administration, in 2016, there were nearly 130 million Chinese tourists traveling abroad with total spending estimated at 109.8 billion US dollars.
For Vietnam, China is the leading market sending tourists. In 2016, Vietnam welcomed about 2.7 million Chinese tourists, an increase of 51.4% compared to 2015, accounting for about 27% of the market share of international tourists to Vietnam. Therefore, attracting Chinese tourists is the focus of tourism promotion of Nghe An tourism in general and Cua Lo in particular.
