"It sounds a bit like a cooking pot!"

(Baonghean) - Unlike other days, the owner of the beverage stall was unusually calm today. When she heard customers gossiping about the police in Hung Binh ward, Vinh City, neglecting the accident victim and only focusing on surveying the scene, she didn't rush to utter harsh, venomous comments as usual. Even though many in the stall expressed indignation and outrage, considering it a reprehensible act of indifference, she simply said: "If we don't have a complete understanding of the situation, if we haven't witnessed it from beginning to end, we shouldn't jump to conclusions like that!"

She's right; few people would stand by and watch someone's life hang in the balance without trying to help. Especially in a situation where there's no real danger to their own survival, like the incident that day. A simple phone call would have brought an ambulance a few minutes later; there was no harm or expense involved. In that chaotic and frantic moment, surely not many people were calm and composed enough to observe and grasp everything. Just because you didn't see the police calling an ambulance doesn't mean they didn't; someone else must have called and were waiting for the ambulance. Of course, the first thing anyone would do upon seeing an accident victim is to assess the situation and ask questions to see if the person is seriously injured. Only when they determine that there's nothing too dangerous do the police proceed with their duty and responsibility of surveying the scene to facilitate the investigation and conclusion of the case later. This is also to quickly clear the scene and avoid traffic congestion, as it was rush hour. Furthermore, when you see an accident victim lying motionless, you should absolutely not rush to lift them up and take them to the emergency room, as this is very dangerous to the victim's life. Instead, you should keep them still and gently place them on a stretcher and carry them away very carefully. Unless there is an emergency, the best course of action is to wait for the ambulance and doctors to arrive.

This illustrates that there are many reasons why people leave accident victims waiting for ambulances, and it's not necessarily due to indifference, lack of spirit, or irresponsibility towards the public. And while waiting, it's normal for police officers to perform their duties; there's nothing to criticize or condemn about that. Therefore, everything must be thought through thoroughly, considering multiple aspects and possibilities before reaching a final conclusion. One shouldn't just "listen to rumors" and hastily write articles and news reports that damage the image and reputation of others. Surely everyone remembers the case where several newspapers were fined for publishing a fabricated article titled "A Daughter's Letter to Her Father in Truong Sa," with added embellishments to make it more appealing. With a little discernment and careful consideration, one can immediately see that this is a fabricated, deceptive trick to "gain likes" from readers by a fame-seeking and uncultured individual. A fine is still too lenient, as it not only causes offense but also significantly impacts the "military rear-area support" policy, amounting to a psychological warfare tactic by the enemy.

Therefore, when faced with seemingly unusual events or phenomena, consider them carefully and thoroughly before drawing conclusions, rather than hastily making judgments based on hearsay.
