Young Artist 2017 and the mission of spreading new inspiration
(Baonghean) -Their contributions may not yet be considered to have any guiding value, but their products and influences in the musical life have partly affirmed a generation of young artists from Nghe An who are making contributions with their talent and artistic qualities.

2017 was a year in which the talented young singer from Nghe An achieved much success with his hit songs. “Em gai mua” was released only 10 days ago and has already had millions of likes and hundreds of thousands of shares. 1 month since its release, this song is still a hit that has toppled all charts and occupied the top position on FM for many weeks in a row.

With the event of being a coach of “The Voice Kids 2017” when the girl from Nghe An was still very young in both career and age, Huong Tram was highly appreciated by experts for her influence. Because of talent, experience and influence, she can train other singers with qualities. And so the phenomenon of Huong Tram has never been less hot in the music market.
When asked about the responsibility of young singers with great talent and influence like her to bring Vietnamese music to the regional and world level, and at the same time guide the music tastes of young people, she said: "We need to work seriously, always learn, and cultivate our musical taste, from which we can hope to create a colorful, civilized music market with a strong Vietnamese identity."
Singer Thanh Tai: Young people should spread folk songs themselves
Born and raised by the gentle Lam Giang River, Thanh Tai was blessed with a voice as sweet and soulful as the Lam River in his hometown. Since he was a little boy, Tai has captured the hearts of many people with his captivating voice.

Tai, a country boy, was able to enter the Provincial School of Culture and Arts thanks to his natural singing voice. With high scores thanks to his colorful voice, Tai was quickly welcomed by musicians from Nghe An, who asked him to perform new songs.
In the blink of an eye, it has been 10 years since Tai started singing and became a freelance singer in demand. Needless to say, the tireless efforts of the Nghe An boy, "there were times when it seemed impossible to continue the profession because of its harshness and rejection in the capital, especially the folk music genre with many famous singers who had been nailed down" but with slow and patient steps, the poor boy of the past has won the hearts of many audiences.
In 2017, many people in the industry expected Thanh Tai to make a name for himself in major competitions. At the Sao Mai 2017 contest in the Central Highlands region, Tai was one of three contestants representing the folk genre to compete nationwide, but when he sang the most dedicated and heartfelt song “Loi Hen Tinh Que”, Tai knew at that moment that he could not have a high position in this genre of music.
Singing folk songs and discovering myself in new experiences with contemporary folk songs are my criteria in the next journey. Choosing this genre of music is also my way of telling young people to preserve and promote the melodies of their homeland no matter where they are and what they do; no matter who they are. Because just listening and feeling it helps to spread folk songs.
Singer Sy Nhat: Dream of conquering chamber music
Entering the competitions with encouragement from his mother, Sy Nhat was known as a "rare commodity" in the chamber music scene with a warm Baritone voice. Then, after winning the second prize of the Nghe An Voice in mid-May 2017, Sy Nhat emerged as a phenomenon. After "Binh Tri Thien Khoi Lua" or "Truyen Thuyet Ho Guom" that Nhat performed on big stages, many young people searched for these songs by their seniors to compare with his performance.

“And obviously, each generation has different experiences with the same song, from which the 9x generation will breathe a new spirit, a new vitality into it” – Nhat said. For Nhat, although he is pursuing a music genre that is not popular and has difficulty competing in major competitions, that is the dream he pursues: The dream of conquering classical music to inspire many young people.
For Nhat, not being able to make it to the final round of Sao Mai 2017 is understandable because he is still young enough to have a mature voice and poise on stage, but what is expected of this singer born in 1996 is the civility of a young person when singing chamber music.
This once again lights up the belief in Vietnamese classical music about its new transformation and ability to last because the love for classical music has never stopped in generations of artists.
Singer Ngoc Anh: New folk song beauty
The second prize in the Folk music category was announced in the astonishment of the small girl on the large Sao Mai 2017 stage. The girl from Thanh Chuong plowing through rocks and soil has loved folk music since the days of herding buffaloes and cutting grass, and now that she has chosen folk music as her career, she always believes that if she did not sing, she would not be successful anywhere.

After Sao Mai, one step to becoming famous, wherever Ngoc Anh went, she received familiar greetings, wherever she went, she was invited to sing, to her it was still strange because "ahead of her is still a journey", but to have this initial somewhat brilliant success, no one knew that she had to go through difficult days. From convincing her family to pursue a singing career to entering the professional environment.
Ngoc Anh said: "To achieve the techniques in pronunciation and vibrato like today, I had to put my face in water to practice my voice every morning for a whole month. When my friends were fast asleep, I still had to jog and practice at high speed to maintain my voice."
And now, not only does Anh sing Nghe Tinh folk songs with great flavor, she also performs many songs with folk melodies that are highly appreciated by experts. Developing folk songs to spread them more widely and diversify their audiences and spaces of enjoyment is the goal that this talented and beautiful girl is aiming for.
