Father suspected of killing 4-month-old son then surrenders
After the 4-month-old boy died, the father packed his belongings and left home but later turned himself in to the police.
Huong Thuy Town Police are coordinating with the Criminal Police Department of Thua Thien - Hue Province Police to investigate the case of a father killing his 4-month-old son that occurred in Phu Bai Ward on July 12. The suspect is Hoang Quoc T. (20 years old, residing in Phu Bai Ward, Huong Thuy Town).

According to the investigation agency of Huong Thuy Town Police, T. surrendered at An Cuu Ward Police (Hue City) and was then transferred to Huong Thuy Town Police to give a statement at noon on July 13.
Initial information, on the afternoon of July 12, Ms. Huynh Thi NY (21 years old, T.'s wife) was busy so she told Tuan to go home to look after her 4-month-old newborn son.
At around 5pm the same day, Ms. Y's family members were shocked when they entered the room and saw the child lying motionless, his whole body purple. Meanwhile, Tuan packed his belongings and left the house on his motorbike.
Upon receiving the news, Huong Thuy Town Police arrived at the scene to clarify the incident. T. surrendered himself at An Cuu Ward Police Station at noon the same day.
T. is from the North, married and lives with a local family. This person does not have a stable job.
