Hong Kong man suspected of having his handbag stolen worth 1 billion VND
A Hong Kong man went to the police to report that he was robbed of a 1 billion VND handbag in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City while he was going to a coffee shop with friends.

The victim informed that on the afternoon of February 6, he drove a 4-seater car from District 1 to District 5, Ho Chi Minh City to meet a friend at a coffee shop.
When arriving at the coffee shop on Huynh Man Dat Street (Ward 8, District 5), Mr. D. carried a handbag (with 200 million VND inside, a diamond ring..., total value of 1 billion VND) and got out of the car and entered the shop. When Mr. D. had just reached the steps of the shop, he was suddenly approached by a young man (unknown background) riding a Dream motorbike and snatched his handbag.
After the young man disappeared with his bag, the victim went to the police to report. After receiving Mr. D's complaint, the authorities took statements from witnesses and related people.
The case is currently being investigated by the police.
