A Hong Kong man was allegedly robbed of a 1 billion VND handbag
A Hong Kong man went to the police to report that his bag worth 1 billion VND was robbed in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City while he was going to a coffee shop with friends.

The victim informed that on the afternoon of February 6, he drove a 4-seat car from District 1 to District 5, Ho Chi Minh City to meet a friend at a coffee shop.
When arriving at the coffee shop on Huynh Man Dat Street (Ward 8, District 5), Mr. D. carried a handbag (with 200 million VND inside, a diamond ring..., total value of 1 billion VND) and got out of the car and went into the shop. When Mr. D. had just reached the steps of the shop, he was suddenly approached by a young man (unknown background) riding a Dream motorbike and snatched his handbag.
After the young man disappeared with his bag, the victim went to the police to report. After receiving Mr. D’s complaint, the authorities took statements from witnesses and related people.
The case is currently being investigated by the police.
