Suspected murder of wife and child of Head of District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee

A leader of the Criminal Police Team - Chau Duc District Police, Ba Ria - Vung Tau has just confirmed that at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, October 24, people discovered a mother and child dead in a house in Quang Thanh commune.

The two dead people were identified as the wife and child of Mr. Bui Xuan Thuong, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Chau Duc District Party Committee, Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

A leader of the Chau Duc District People's Committee said that the two people died from cuts to their necks, so suicide could be ruled out. But all must wait for the results of the police's autopsy.

Police are currently securing the scene and conducting an investigation.

The two people suspected of being murdered are Mrs. Pham Thuy Nga (48 years old) and her son Bui Pham Duc Toan (17 years old), residing in Tan Thanh hamlet, Quang Thanh commune, Chau Duc district. Mrs. Nga is suspected of being murdered on the second floor, her son was murdered on the ground floor, with a lot of blood, his hands and feet tied with electric wire.
