(Baonghean.vn) - The investigation agency of Quynh Luu District Police, Nghe An has summoned and taken statements from two male students suspected of being involved in the case of a 5-year-old boy who died in an abandoned house.

On June 10, the provincial police leaders were present at the scene, directing professional units to investigate the murder case that caused the death of 5-year-old boy Ho Tran Van Do (living in Quynh Tam commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province).

According to the source, male student Dao Ngoc Hoang (grade 11, Quynh Luu 4 High School, living in the same neighborhood as the victim) is the suspect in the case. Hoang is a game addict, often playing thrilling games such as kidnapping and rescue. This subject thought of kidnapping and hiding Do. When people came looking for Hoang, he would pretend to find and rescue him to gain merit.

However, when the family organized a search for the child, Hoang panicked and did not dare to continue his plan, leaving the victim in the abandoned house.

After 2 days of Do's disappearance, relatives identified from a house camera that suspect Hoang had taken Do away from the village. Later, when Hoang agreed to go up to point out the abandoned house, Do had died in the abandoned house in the forest area of ​​Lang Thanh commune (belonging to the Youth Volunteer Force of Yen Thanh district), his hands were tied. The scene was about 10 km from Do's house.

Mr. Cao Thanh Tuan - Principal of Quynh Luu 4 High School said that Hoang has average academic performance, gets along well with friends, and is polite to teachers. Recently, Hoang has not shown any unusual psychological signs.

As for the victim's family, the sudden passing of Do has left Mr. Ho Van Tu and his wife in great pain. Do's mother has been crying since yesterday, and the hot weather has left her almost exhausted. Mr. Tu wanted to go to the scene to see his son for the last time, but no one allowed it because he has had kidney cancer for 8 years, plus a severe bone and joint disease that has made Mr. Tu (49 years old) unable to walk steadily. He was in pain, making everyone unable to hold back their tears.

Mr. Tu said: “His house and Hoang's house are only 300 meters apart. Seeing Hoang being close to his nephew, sometimes taking him out, buying ice cream and hot dogs, the family did not take precautions. We did not expect the suspect to be so cruel to Do.”
