Suspect who shot and injured two people turned himself in

Vinh City Police said they are detaining Hoang Khac Hieu (born 1990, residing in Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City) to clarify his act of using a gun to shoot and injure two people at a restaurant on Le Nin Street.
“After the incident, Hieu fled to Hanoi. Knowing that the police were looking for him, Hieu went to the Criminal Police Department in Hanoi to surrender. On October 26, Vinh City Police transferred Hieu to Nghe An to assist in the investigation,” a source said.

Hieu was accused of being the person who directly shot Le Ngoc Anh (born in 1992, residing in Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City) and Nguyen Gia Dinh (born in 1992, residing in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City) at a restaurant on Le Nin Avenue on the evening of October 20. Police searched the suspect's house and seized a lot of related evidence.
He was shot in the shoulder, and Dinh was shot in the stomach. On October 21, the two victims underwent surgery to remove the bullets from their bodies.
Before that, on the evening of October 20, Hieu was sitting eating with a group of friends in a restaurant when Nguyen Gia Dinh walked in and started a fight. Seeing Hieu being attacked, the group of people at the same table stood up and grabbed chairs to chase and beat Dinh.

Ngoc Anh had just arrived at the restaurant when he saw Dinh being chased and beaten by Hieu’s group with chairs, so he stepped in to stop them. One of them pulled out a gun and shot repeatedly, injuring Dinh. He jumped in to stop them, but was shot in the shoulder, but was later able to take the gun away.
Police immediately arrested two people, Le Trong Duc (born 1996, residing in Dien Chau district) and Pham Duc Nghia (born 1997, residing in Vinh city) to clarify the act of disturbing public order.
