Suspect in the murder of a father and son who were looking for wild honey committed suicide?
People in Tan Van commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son discovered the body of a man who died hanging and reported it to the police.
Previously, at around 8:00 a.m. on March 2, Mr. Duong Kim C. (34 years old, in Thai Binh commune) and his son (11 years old) went into the forest in another commune to look for wild honey.
At 4 pm that same day, when her husband and children had not returned, Mr. C's wife called her husband but he did not answer. At this time, Mr. C's wife thought that her husband had gone to a friend's house to drink alcohol, so she called but he did not answer. At 11 pm that same day, she did not see her husband return and continued to call but there was no response.

On the morning of March 3, when calling and seeing that the phone was off, Mr. C's family became anxious and split up to look for the father and son, and at the same time reported to the local authorities.
When entering the forest, people were shocked to discover that the 11-year-old boy who had been murdered in the bushes had died, his neck had been cut off. Local authorities and police continued to search, and on March 4, they found Duong Kim C. in the forest, also murdered, his neck cut off, and then put in a sack.
Lang Son Provincial Police identified the suspect as a person from the same commune as the victim’s family. The suspect is about 38 years old, thin, wearing a camouflage shirt, a brown helmet, black pants, and black leather sandals.
The suspect fled the area with a blue motorbike.
During the search, on the morning of March 7, people in Tan Van commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province discovered the body of a man who died in a hanging position with many identifying features similar to the suspect who murdered a father and son in Thai Binh commune, Dinh Lap district.
Talking to reporters about the above incident, the leader of Tan Van Commune People's Committee said that early this morning (March 7), while people were passing through the hillside road in Lan Khinh village, Tan Van commune, they discovered a blue motorbike on the side of the road. From this motorbike, people followed it up the hill to search and discovered the body of a man who had died in a hanging position.
The leader of Tan Van commune also said that, through initial identification, this could be the suspect who committed the crime in Thai Binh commune, Dinh Lap district and then fled to Tan Van commune to commit suicide.
Currently, professional units are urgently investigating and clarifying the incident.
