Lychee seeds have been brought to Nghi Lam for sowing. |
This winter crop 2017, Nghi Loc produced nearly 1 hectare of various flowers. Of which, there were over 12 sao of chrysanthemums and nearly 7 sao of lilies. This was the first year Nghi Loc produced lilies in greenhouses. This flower growing model was grown in Nghi Lam, Nghi Trung and Nghi Long communes.
This is a model implemented according to the policy of the Provincial People's Committee on supporting production development under the new rural construction program. In which, households implementing the model are supported by the state with 100% of seed costs and 30% of fertilizer costs. The households invest in greenhouses and use them for many years.

Currently, households have planted chrysanthemums and lilies on the entire area. Flowers are high-value crops, but in addition to planting and care techniques, weather is still a decisive factor. The Department of Agriculture recommends that flower growers proactively take timely care solutions to help flowers grow, develop well, and bloom in time for Tet.
