Nghi Loc: Giving away 26 scholarships for education

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, on the morning of November 17, Nghi Loc District's Association for Promoting Education coordinated with Nghi Loc 2 High School to present gifts to teachers with high achievements and excellent students of the school.

At the celebration of Vietnam Home Day this year, the school's education promotion association used the education promotion fund to present 14 teachers with high achievements in teaching in the 2016-2017 school year, each gift worth 500,000 VND; and 12 gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well, each gift worth 1 million VND. The total value of the gifts that the education promotion association presented this time was 21 million VND.

This activity not only honors teachers and students, but also educates the tradition of solidarity, mutual love, sharing, and helping students, and encourages students with especially difficult circumstances to excel in their studies and training.
