Although unfavorable weather and prolonged drought affected onion plants, chives in Nghi Lam and Nghi Loc still grew well, with a yield of 800 kg of bulbs per sao.With a selling price of about 30,000 - 35,000 VND/kg,Each hectare of shallots brings in 400 million VND. Divided into each household, they grow a few acres of shallots and earn tens of millions.
