Nghi Loc successfully mobilized to clear land for road D4

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 3, the Nghi Loc District Compensation and Site Clearance Council and the Nghi Thiet Commune People's Committee successfully mobilized 4 households in Dong hamlet, Nghi Thiet commune to hand over the site for the construction of road D4 through the Southeast economic zone.

This is the result after a year of active propaganda and mobilization by the Nghi Loc district government and Nghi Thiet commune for a number of households located within the clearance area for the construction of the province's D4 road. It is known that the D4 road has 2.1 km passing through Nghi Thiet commune. Of which, the last 500m of the road is related to 149 households in Dong hamlet and Moi hamlet of this locality.

During the process of implementing the compensation and site clearance procedures, some problems arose. Through persistent mobilization, by June 2015, 145 households had signed the land handover. Only 4 households in Dong hamlet had not yet accepted compensation and handed over the site. The district land clearance council and the working group of Nghi Thiet commune People's Committee had many working sessions with these households to explain the compensation regime according to the State's regulations. With the active and determined participation of the district and commune working groups, by 8:00 p.m. the same day, the last three households agreed to receive support money to hand over the site to the State. On the morning of September 4, the construction unit of D4 road deployed forces to construct the road as planned.
