Nghi Loc: Honoring Heroic Vietnamese Mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 21st, Nghi Loc district held a ceremony to present the prestigious state title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" from the President of Vietnam to 25 heroic Vietnamese mothers in the district.

District leaders presented the State honorary title to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Nhan in Nghi Yen commune.

Relatives of 24 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Nghi Loc district receive the title.

In this third phase, Nghi Loc district has 25 mothers who were awarded the honorary title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother, of which only Mother Le Thi Nhan in Nghi Yen commune was awarded the title by conferment, and 24 mothers were posthumously awarded the title.

Thus, over three rounds, the entire district has had 126 mothers awarded or posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother by the President of Vietnam.

The awarding of the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" aims to recognize and honor the immense contributions of these mothers to the cause of national liberation and the protection of the Fatherland, reflecting the tradition of "drinking water, remembering the source." At the same time, it educates and motivates all sectors of the population to continue preserving and promoting the patriotic tradition and national pride, striving to work and study hard to build the homeland.
