Nghi Loc: Honoring Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 21, Nghi Loc district held a ceremony to award the state honorary title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" by the President to 25 heroic Vietnamese mothers in the district.

Relatives of 24 heroic Vietnamese mothers in Nghi Loc district received the title

In this third phase, Nghi Loc district has 25 mothers awarded the honorary title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother by the state, of which only mother Le Thi Nhan in Nghi Yen commune was awarded the title and 24 mothers were posthumously awarded the title.

Thus, after 3 rounds, the whole district had 126 mothers awarded and posthumously awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother by the President.

The awarding of the title “Heroic Vietnamese Mother” aims to recognize and honor the great contributions of mothers to the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland, demonstrating the tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source”. At the same time, it educates and encourages all classes of people to continue to preserve and promote the tradition of patriotism, national pride, and strive to compete in labor and study to build the homeland.
