Nghi Loc fined 59 million VND/27 business households for violating food safety and hygiene
(Baonghean.vn) - In 12/30 communes and towns in the district, the inspection team discovered the main errors were not having a certificate of food safety and hygiene facilities and not having a periodic health check-up certificate, expired goods, using raw materials of unknown origin, and not keeping food samples.

During this period, Nghi Loc District People's Committee established 3 inspection teams on food safety and hygiene, state management of food safety and hygiene in 30 communes and towns and inspected food production, processing and trading establishments, catering services, pesticide and veterinary medicine services; Focused on inspecting administrative procedures, expiry dates, origin and provenance of goods and resolutely handling according to Decree No. 178 dated November 14, 2013 of the Government regulating administrative sanctions for violations of food safety.
The interdisciplinary team inspected 12 communes and discovered 27 restaurants providing food services violating food safety regulations, the main violations being lack of a certificate of food safety eligibility and no periodic health examination certificate, expired goods, use of ingredients of unknown origin, and failure to keep food samples.
Through inspection, the Nghi Loc district food hygiene interdisciplinary team has propagated, reminded and fined over 59 million VND to 27 establishments violating food safety regulations./.
