Around the age of 16-17, Mr. Nguyen Hai Yen and others were cutting bamboo to build a fence when unfortunately a bamboo tree stabbed him in the back. Due to his carelessness and lack of timely treatment, the wound affected his bones and joints, especially his spine. From a healthy young man, Mr. Yen gradually became paralyzed, his limbs contracted, and he could not move. Later, he worked as a wickerman to earn an income, partly supporting his family.
