Earlier, in the early morning of October 5, Ms. NTMA’s family (born in 1989, residing in Binh Chanh) was sleeping when they heard a noise in front of their house. Opening the door to check, Ms. A’s family discovered that the family’s 7-seater car was on fire, so they shouted for help.
People used mini fire extinguishers to put out the fire but failed. The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team - Binh Chanh District Police mobilized vehicles and officers to put out the fire. The fire was controlled but the 7-seat car was reduced to a metal frame. In addition, another car parked near Ms. A's car also had its rear end burned.

Binh Chanh District Police investigated and discovered a family camera recording images of two people riding a motorbike approaching Ms. A's family's 7-seater car and setting it on fire. While Binh Chanh District Police were investigating the incident, at noon that same day, the family of Ms. A's husband's co-worker received threatening text messages.
