The suspect who murdered and dumped the body in the pond is the victim's neighbor.
The suspect confessed to using a knife to kill Mr. D., chopping up his neighbor's body, putting it in a sack, and throwing it into the pond to destroy the evidence.
Ung Hoa District Police (Hanoi) said on August 15 that the unit is fighting with Vuong Van Doan (29 years old, also known as Dong, in Dung Cam village, Trung Tu commune) to clarify his behavior.killingThe victim was Nguyen Trung D. (born in 1982, neighbor of the suspect).
Initially, Vuong Van Doan confessed that after killing the victim, the suspect disposed of the victim's body in a drain that flowed into the pond in front of his family's farm.

Previously, not seeing Mr. D. return home and unable to contact him, on August 11, Mr. D.'s family went to Trung Tu Commune Police to report his disappearance.
According to the victim Nguyen Trung D.’s family, at around 7:30 p.m. on August 9, D. left home after a phone call. When he left, the victim took with him about 40 million VND.
Upon receiving the report, Trung Tu Commune Police issued a notice to search for the missing person.
On the afternoon of August 13, the body of victim D. was found in a sack in a pond near his house.
