German authorities are hunting for the suspect. The car crash into a Christmas market in Berlin on the evening of December 19th left 12 people dead and nearly 50 others injured. This is the bloodiest attack in Germany since 1980.

On the night of December 21, the German Federal Prosecutor's Office issued a Europe-wide arrest warrant and released a photo of suspect Anis Amri. Earlier, investigators found documents related to Anis Amri under the seat of the truck used in the crime.

In addition to issuing a wanted notice with a reward of 100,000 euros for information leading to his arrest, German federal prosecutors also warned that the suspect was radicalized and armed, and could carry out other attacks.

North Rhine-Westphalia state Interior Minister Ralf Jäger said German counter-terrorism units had information the subject had exchanged last November.

On December 21, Tunisian police questioned Amri's family to seek more information to support the German police's investigation and search for the suspect./.
