Erawan Shrine bombing suspect reveals new information
On October 8, the lawyer of Bilal Mohammed, also known as Adem Karadag, the main suspect in the Erawan Shrine bombing in Bangkok, said that the suspect confessed that he was promised a chance to go to Türkiye if he placed the bomb as close to this tourist attraction as possible.

Mr. Chuchart Kanphai, Bilal Mohammed's lawyer, added that the subject revealed the above information to him during a meeting the same day at the detention center at a military base.
He said Bilal knew full well that the crime he committed would be severely punished and hoped that his honest confession would help reduce his sentence.
The bombing at Erawan Shrine on August 17 killed 20 people and injured more than 100./.
