During a debate on Britain's exit from the European Union (EU), known as Brexit, MP Desmond Swayne, 62, fell asleep and was accidentally caught on camera because he was sitting right behind another MP who was speaking, according toHuffington Post.
After about 40 seconds of dozing off, Mr. Desmond woke up and smiled, seemingly realizing that his actions had been noticed.
However, Mr Desmond is not the first MP to be caught nodding off during a government debate. In 2012, MP Stephen Pound was seen nodding off during a debate on British soldiers killed in Afghanistan. He denied falling asleep, insisting he was just “concentrating”.
