Duma MP affirms Ukraine will join Russia
State Duma deputy, leader of the Liberal Democratic Union (LDPR) Vladimir Zhirinovsky believes that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will lead the country for no more than two years, after which a bloody new Maidan awaits him.
The Russian politician wrote about this on his personal telegram channel. The MP compared the current situation in Ukraine to “terminal cancer”, stating that “metastasis” has spread throughout the “body” of the country.
“The whole country is in blood, there is no economy, people are leaving. Zelensky can only be the President of Ukraine for 1-2 years, and then he will be swept away. There are thousands and thousands of armed people, nationalists “for Ukraine”, drunk with blood. They do not need peace, they only want to rob and kill. They can bring their Pinochet to power in Ukraine. Then such a person will also be swept away. And everything will end with first the division of Ukraine and then the return of the whole of Ukraine to Russia,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
Early parliamentary elections took place in Ukraine on Sunday. According to the latest data, five parties took part in the parliament, led by Zelensky’s Servant of the People party. The Central Election Commission must officially announce the results of the vote count by August 5.
