Russian Duma MP: 'Trump's visit to Crimea will start a new era of world order'
State Duma deputy representing Crimea, Natalya Poklonskaya, believes that if US President Donald Trump visits Russian Crimea for the first time, this could be the beginning of a new stage for the world order.
US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met on Sunday and then held talks.
"One of the most prominent news stories in world politics is Donald Trump's visit to the territory of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. This is indeed an important and serious step! But Trump has a chance to break all records of world news if he becomes the first US President to make a friendly visit to Russia's Crimea! As I understand it, that's news for news!", - said Ms. Poklonskaya.
According to the congresswoman, the visit of the US President to Crimea could start a new phase of world order, based on respect and compliance with human rights and freedoms recognized by international documents.
