Russian Duma MP: 'Trump's visit to Crimea will start a new era of world order'
State Duma deputy from Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya believes that if US President Donald Trump visits Russian Crimea for the first time, this could be the beginning of a new stage in the world order.
US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un met on Sunday and held talks.
"One of the most prominent news stories in world politics is Donald Trump's visit to the territory of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. This is indeed an important and serious step! But Trump has a chance to break all world news records if he becomes the first US President to make a friendly visit to Russia's Crimea! As I understand it, that's news for news!", - said Poklonskaya.
According to the congresswoman, the visit of the US President to Crimea could start a new phase of the world order, based on respect and observance of human rights and freedoms recognized by international documents.
