A beautiful gesture!
(Baonghean.vn) -Mr. Ngo Xuan Chuan, residing in Hamlet 6, Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, is a traditional medicine practitioner specializing in kidney disease and high blood pressure. Since 2004, he has quietly provided free medicine to 62 patients in difficult circumstances.
The person he most recently provided medicine to (on December 31, 2011) was the wife of Mr. Nguyen Duy Thanh in Hamlet 6, Bac Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District. He said that after reading the article "Struggling to care for a sick wife and three children studying at university" (published in Nghe An newspaper on November 3, 2011), which mentioned that Mr. Thanh's wife had just undergone kidney surgery, he went to their house to provide medicine.
Mr. Ngo Xuan Chuan's actions are truly commendable. Both he and his wife are farmers, both over 60 years old, and they have six children to support through their education. Yet, he has quietly been doing good deeds for nearly 10 years, traveling throughout the district on his electric bicycle and with a bag of medicine. This is a beautiful act that deserves to be promoted, praised, and rewarded.
