Nghia Dan held a meeting with priests on the occasion of Christmas 2014.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Christmas 2014, the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district organized a friendly meeting and discussion with priests and chairpersons of pastoral councils of parishes in the district.

Representatives of the Nghia Dan district leadership presented flowers to the priests.

At the meeting, the leaders of Nghia Dan district informed the attendees about the socio-economic and national defense and security situation of the district in the past period, acknowledging that these achievements were significantly contributed to by the Catholic community. They also wished the priests and Catholic parishioners a peaceful, joyful, and happy Christmas season. Representatives of the priests thanked the Party and the Nghia Dan district government for their concern for the parishioners, and promised to continue encouraging parishioners to live virtuous lives, work alongside the government to build a more prosperous and civilized Nghia Dan, and make positive contributions to the construction and protection of the homeland.
