(Baonghean.vn) - Nghia Dan District Police have promptly detected and stopped the subject from spreading and enticing people to join the illegal "Church of God".
At 10:20 a.m. on May 2, the authorities raided the rented house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Van in Hamlet 4, Nghia Trung Commune. Here, the police caught the female subject red-handed renting the house under the pretext of expanding the market for high-quality paper, spring rolls, etc. to gather and lure subjects to illegally participate in the activities of the Church of God.

At the scene, authorities seized 15 kg of documents, books of unknown origin and many objects related to the illegal activities and preaching of the "Church of God".
Through the investigation, the subject confessed that Phan Thi S. (born in 1992), residing in Kim Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, went to Nghia Trung commune to borrow a rented room to meet and attract people in Nghia Dan district and Thai Hoa town to study books, documents, and exchange knowledge about the "Church of God".

Afterwards, the authorities brought the suspect and related evidence to Nghia Trung Commune Police Station to continue taking statements and investigating to clarify the incident.
Among the documents and papers, there is a list of many participants born from 1990 onwards, who are students at a number of universities and colleges in the area.
Recently, there have been many groups calling themselves "The Holy God Association" to attract and entice people to follow and there are many signs of profiteering. Some families have been lured, leading to family separation and students neglecting their studies. These activities have caused outrage among the people and the people have agreed to denounce and request the authorities to intervene to prevent and handle the matter.
