Nghia Dan summarizes the 2015 summer volunteer campaign.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 30th, the Nghia Dan District Youth Union held a ceremony to summarize the 2015 summer volunteer campaign.

During the 2015 summer volunteer campaign, the Standing Committee of the Nghia Dan District Youth Union launched many meaningful youth projects such as: launching a campaign to build new rural areas in Nghia An, Nghia Loi, and Nghia Lien communes; successfully organizing the "2015 Revolutionary Song Propaganda Festival"; clearing over 3 hectares of undergrowth and creating firebreaks at the intersection of forests in Nghia Duc commune; and clearing 2.5 km of power line corridors in Nghia Mai and Nghia Thinh communes.

The Nghia Dan District Youth Union awarded certificates of commendation to outstanding units.

The District Youth Union, in coordination with member units of the Blood Donation Steering Committee, successfully organized the 2015 voluntary blood donation drive with the participation of over 1000 volunteers, collecting 696 units of blood, exceeding the provincial target by 122%; provided free porridge to 768 patients; and offered career guidance to over 500 young people.

On this occasion, 2 collectives and 1 individual received certificates of commendation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; the People's Committee of Nghia Dan district awarded certificates of commendation to 2 collectives and 2 individuals; and the District Youth Union Executive Committee awarded certificates of commendation to 15 collectives and 5 individuals.
