The cute little potted plant you see in the picture is not for display on your desk, but for... eating.

A small coffee shop on Pham Dinh Toai Street (District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) was very creative when coming up with an edible "plant pot".

The idea for this unique dish comes from the owner's hobby of growing plants, responding to the environmental protection movement. If you look at it with the naked eye, customers can be "fooled" into thinking that the pot only contains humus. But in fact, that humus is made from crumbs of dark brown cookies, similar to the color of soil.

Between the cookie crumbs is a layer of cool, spongy ice cream. And on top is a lush green sprig of basil, like a young plant growing in a pot. This unique dish is called "plant pot ice cream".

The owner also deliberately used a large spoon that looked like a shovel to trick the customers' vision. Holding this "shovel" to scoop "dirt" in the pot to eat was an interesting feeling.

And if you carefully cut a piece of "soil" from top to bottom of the pot, you will see that all the ingredients are favorite snacks of young people.

A cup of ice cream in a pot costs from 55,000 to 65,000 VND. With the simple but extremely skillful way of making this coffee shop, many customers when served ice cream in a pot have to ask again: "Is this edible?"

Ice cream is always one of the number 1 choices of Saigon youth on hot days. This potted ice cream not only has a cooling effect but also makes the eater feel happy because of the small surprises hidden inside.
