SLNA foreign player: "Many V.League defenders quit football"
(Baonghean.vn) - Returning to Vietnam for the second time to compete, striker Osmar Francisco was once again haunted by V.League defenders after his unsuccessful first match in the Song Lam Nghe An shirt.
Osmar Francisco was born in 1987 in Brazil, the 1m80 tall striker who played for clubs in Japan such as Avispa Fukuoka or Mito Hollyhock joined Hoang Anh Gia Lai in 2016. That was the time when he played 7 matches for the mountain town team and scored 5 goals.
However, in the match against Long An, a collision with defender Huynh Tan Tai in the penalty area caused striker Osmar Moreira to break 1/3 of his right leg. For this reason, the Brazilian player had to leave the field until he returned to SLNA for a trial and to play.

Arriving at SLNA, Osmar Francisco shared about his new destination: “In Vietnam, everything is quite good from food to weather. HAGL as well as SLNA are like a family, with many quality, agile and technical players. The important thing is that Vietnamese fans are very passionate. In the match against S. Khanh Hoa BVN, I still did not score but I am not sad about that, football is a team sport. That was also the match that SLNA was unlucky. In the next matches, I will try harder."
When asked about defenders in V.League, the foreign player of Nghe An team showed little sympathy, Osmar Francisco said: "I had a serious injury when playing for HAGL, until now I still see many Vietnamese defenders not focusing on playing football, they find ways to push, foul or play dirty. It's a pity that those things get past the referees."
Along with Michael Olaha, Osmar is the player expected to solve the problem of the Nghe An team's attack in 3 fronts: V.League, National Cup and AFC Cup 2018. The Brazilian striker will have to make more efforts if he plays long-term at SLNA because he only signed a half-year contract./.
