Russia can "join a coalition of more than 60 countries in the fight against Daesh (another name for IS), to maintain its strategic interests in Syria and in the long term to establish a constructive relationship with President Trump", Foreign Minister Johnson stated.

According to Mr. Johnson, Russia should join forces to establish a "real ceasefire regime" to end the use of chemical weapons and reach a political solution to the Syrian problem, helping the people of this country "free from the tyranny of Assad".

He said there was “no doubt” that the Syrian government was responsible for the “chemical attack” in Idlib, which Mr Johnson said was carried out “by two Syrian planes that took off from a chemical weapons storage airbase”, he said.

"British scientists have analyzed samples taken from victims of the attack. They show the presence of sarin gas or similar substances," he announced.

At the same time, the British Foreign Secretary assured that "ultimately, the West will help rebuild Syria." At the same time, as Johnson said, the US could very well strike again.
