Ukrainian Foreign Minister declares readiness for peace talks with Russia
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha said Kiev is ready to negotiate with Russia in any form.

According to RIA Novosti, The Guardian reported that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrei Sybiha said at a meeting with his Polish and Lithuanian counterparts that Ukraine is ready to hold peace talks at any time and anywhere.
"Ukraine is ready for peace negotiations in any form, in any geographical context" - Ukrainian Foreign Minister said.
Earlier, on July 16, the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, called on Western countries to pressure Ukraine to hold a new round of negotiations with Moscow. According to Mr. Peskov, in this case, the main mediation effort is the United States, specifically President Donald Trump and his team.
In addition, Mr. Peskov stressed that Russia is ready for the third round of negotiations, but has not yet received any proposals from Kiev.
Russia and Ukraine held two rounds of talks in Istanbul, Türkiye. The results of these talks were the exchange of prisoners of war, and the bodies of servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Moscow and Kiev also exchanged draft memorandums of understanding on conflict resolution.
However, the date for the third round of talks has yet to be determined, although Türkiye and Russia have repeatedly stated their readiness to host them.
US Army Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson said on July 16 that it is necessary to consider the legal status of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky before the third round of negotiations takes place.
"Holding a third round of talks is a reasonable initiative, and I applaud the parties for trying to implement this initiative. I think it would be better if Ukraine considered the issue of Mr. Zelensky" - said the US Army Colonel.
