Ngoc Chau crowned Vietnam's Next Top Model 2016

Ngoc Chau, standing at 1.74m tall, was praised by the judges for possessing the beautiful proportions of a model. With her gentle face, Ngoc Chau has twice won challenges requiring the expression of sweet emotions on her face without needing elaborate poses.

Ngoc Chau's mother went on stage to share the moment of her daughter's coronation.

When commenting on the winner, the show's host, Thanh Hằng, said: "Ngọc Châu didn't make me wonder if she could balance being a commercial or high-end model, but rather whether she had enough passion to see it through to the end." This comment aligns with what Ngọc Châu showed in the competition. Although she performed consistently, she only played it safe, lacking the sharp personality needed for a professional model.

Ngoc Chau's victory was surprising because before the final night, the majority of the favoritism was directed towards contestant La Thanh Thanh (center). Even on the final night, the 1.54m tall hot girl had more captivating performances than her rivals, as evidenced by the applause from the audience on stage. The Top 3 of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2016 included: Huy Quang, La Thanh Thanh, and Ngoc Chau (from left to right).

The final night took place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 2nd, featuring two segments: a catwalk and a photoshoot inside a glass cage. Huy Quang was among the top 3 contestants who opened the photoshoot inside the glass cage. Each contestant had 3 minutes to pose inside the small, narrow cage so that the photographer could capture beautiful moments.

Contestant La Thanh Thanh impressed with her acrobatic performance. Her striking poses received much applause from the live audience at the venue.

In the previous catwalk competition, La Thanh Thanh (center) also received much support from the audience and judges.

Before the catwalk competition, supermodel Thanh Hang announced that, in line with the principle of breaking all boundaries, the organizers had selected contestant Minh Phong to return to compete in the catwalk segment. She also showcased her skillful catwalk moves in the opening performance of the final night.

Hoang Thuy Linh was the guest singer, performing the show's theme song - "Break the Rules". She wore a crop top to show off her waist and performed energetic dance moves with Hoang Thong's dance troupe.

Trong Hieu also delivered an energetic performance before the results were announced.
