The world-famous treehouse
This magnificent structure is called the Horace Burgess, located in Crossville, California.Tennessee , America.
Horace Burgess, the owner of the house, took 11 years to complete the construction, starting in 1993. And to this day, the 10-story treehouse not only remains very sturdy and solid, but it is also considered one of the world's most famous works of art.

This is the tallest wooden house in the world, and it took 11 years to complete.
Even without ever having set foot inside, looking at the photo above, you can imagine how huge and spacious it is. The house covers an area of over 2,000 square meters, but thanks to a cost-saving policy using recycled materials, Horace only spent $12,000 on building this massive house.
Constructed from six main tree trunks and using 258,000 nails to hold everything together, the house's architecture appears quite perfect, just like a normal villa. Inside, there's a spiral staircase, a sanctuary, a choir, a basketball court, balconies, and numerous small rooms.
Photographer Tom Whetton, 63, who took these photos in mid-March, said: "This treehouse is truly impressive to me. If you've ever stood next to it, stepped inside to explore it, you'll see how magnificent it is. I think children would love to be brought here to visit."
To everyone's curiosity, wondering how Horace Burgess managed to successfully build such a beautiful and complex structure, he said it was thanks to divine guidance.
