Strange 'mobile home' in Vietnam

The Isuzu booth attracted visitors with the MotorHome model. The vehicle was converted from a D-Max pickup truck with a fully equipped rear compartment, serving the needs of relaxation, entertainment or long trips. The outer roof operates with a rolling mechanism, meeting the needs of picnics or outdoor camping.

The rear compartment includes a table and chairs, sofa, bed, toilet, TV, sink... The rear compartment and the cockpit are connected when the wooden panel is slid to the side.

High-quality fabric-covered chair, adjustable position with buttons. Table can be folded to increase space.

Next to the sofa is a large TV for entertainment. The refrigerator is located right below.

Above are many storage compartments like in an airplane cabin. The innermost compartment is where the electrical control panel is located. The car's cooling system has an air conditioner and fan, controlled by remote.

The rear section has plenty of storage for personal items. The sink is located next to it with a window looking out.

The Isuzu MotorHome even has a toilet, where you can shower and take care of your personal hygiene.

There is a fixed ladder at the rear to climb up to the roof of the car.

The cockpit remains the original of the Isuzu D-Max. The car uses a manual transmission.

Isuzu has not announced the price or distribution time. At the exhibition, many visitors expressed concern about registration and inspection. But in fact, the MotorHome line of vehicles is easier to register and inspect, because some businesses imported them to Vietnam a few years ago. MotorHome is classified as a specialized passenger transport vehicle such as an ambulance or a prisoner transport vehicle...
