Accordingly, the admission requirements for specialized classes in Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, and English are students studying in grade 10 of high school in Nghe An province and students of the school with academic and training results in the 2022-2023 school year: Good academic performance, good conduct.

Candidates for admission to English classes based on international English certificates are students studying in grade 10 of high schools in Nghe An province and students of the school with academic and training results in the 2022-2023 school year with excellent academic performance and good conduct. The conversion score for international English proficiency certificates according to IELTS certificate is from 6.0 or higher.

In this additional quota round, candidates for the Computer Science specialized class will take the Math or Computer Science exam, for the Physics specialized class, candidates for the Chemistry specialized class will take the Chemistry exam, and candidates for the English specialized class will take the English exam. Candidates will take the exam at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted with a 150-minute specialized subject exam.
