The boat of fisherman Nguyen Van Hai, Tan Hai block, Quynh Phuong ward, just docked after 5 hours at sea, was one of the boats with the highest catch of the day with more than 70 kg of needlefish.
The fresh, unfrozen batches of fish were quickly transported to shore. The traders were already waiting, quickly passing trays of fish from hand to hand. In no time, all the seafood that had just been caught was sold out.
In addition to traders, many households in the area also come to the wharf to choose the freshest fish for the New Year's party. According to many fishermen, this is the biggest catch of the season for anchovies and needlefish.
